About Me

Aarebootsfahrten, Aareboot, aareboeeeetle

My name is Jorge Aguayo, but within my inner circle, I am affectionately known as Coco.

Born in Peru, I spent my childhood and youth between the majestic Andes mountains and the mysterious jungle. These experiences have shaped and deepened my passion for nature, particularly for the element of water.

Although I trained as a welder, I was quickly drawn to the turbulent waters of South America. For many years, I worked as an experienced whitewater rafting guide and adventure guide in the jungle. Through these activities, I had the opportunity to navigate some of the most spectacular rivers on our continent and to experience the beauty and power of water up close.

In 2008, I had the opportunity to put my rafting guide skills to use in Interlaken on the Lütschine. Since then, I have also come to love the picturesque Aare and its green banks, and to this day, I feel a deep connection with this unique landscape and its energy.

Since 2008, I have alternated between working on the water, as a blinds builder, and as a supervisor of an adventure travel program in Peru. Regardless of the activity, my priority always remains the friendly and professional relationship with my clients.

I am extremely grateful to have been able to launch my own project with AQUA-AARE since 2022 with the support of Siesta Oppi. The safety of my guests is always my top priority – it is the foundation of unforgettable and worry-free adventure experiences.
