Thun-Bern

This so popular and well-known route along this incomparable river begins in Schwäbis- Steifisburg. The total duration of the tour is between 3 and 4 hours, depending on the water level, plus the break in Rubigen to relax and enjoy a picnic (catering upon request). From Rubigen, we continue to Marzli in Bern. The swimming pools in Bern are free and offer shower facilities. Our destination is just a 10-minute walk from Bern’s main train station.

Regional train from Thun station towards Konolfingen, platform 18, ask for the Schwäbis “Halt auf” stop. Important: only one minute travel time.

By foot

From Thun station: Head towards the Old Town and then follow the river until you reach the meeting point at Regiebrücke. The walk takes about 15 minutes.

If you wish to shorten the duration of the tour, this is possible by prior arrangement. We are flexible and adapt to your needs.
